MotorCycle Direct have a dedicated on the road sales team and in house quoting and referral team just for you. To enable us to do all we can to get your customer the Bike Insurance that will help you seal the deal.

Outstanding levels of service

Our dedicated team of advisors and underwriters are committed to the highest possible standards of service. Working with our extensive panel of insurers, they will always endeavour to offer your customers the most competitive rates available. Remember that it is a myth the internet is always cheaper, so please encourage your customer to phone us wherever possible.

New Smart Cards

The new MCD Smart Card now incorporates a freephone number and a dealer dedicated web address. This protects your commission earnings if your customer decides to get an online quotation. The home page of the MCDdealers site requires your unique dealer number to be input before the customer can commence.

Certificates of Insurance

To aid your administration, certificates of insurance can be securely emailed to your dealership for taxation purposes.

Policy commission

Commission is payable on each dealer referral converted to a policy. The referral can be by phone; from a web-link or from a desktop quote in your showroom. Commission is paid monthly by cheque, BACS or Capital Bonds. The commission amount is up to £50* per policy.

Sales Incentives

With your permission, we can pay your commission in a mix of Cheque/BACS and Capital Bonds at an amount you nominate. This then provides an award to the individual instrumental in the referral / policy.

Monthly Management Information

In addition to your monthly remittance advice we can provide you with detailed information relating to quotations given, policies sold and commission paid etc.

Desk-Top Link

You can access the MCD quote system via an icon on your desk-top. This enables you to provide your customer with an instant quotation from your PC. All quotes are tracked to your dealership for commission purposes.**

Dealer web-link

Enabling you to earn commission from a customer taking out a policy after clicking on an MCD Web banner from your home page. Links are individual to your dealership.

Subsidy Facilities

An alternative to discounting and subsidised finance – Free or subsidised Insurance. Our Dealer Support team can provide you with a policy cost guide matrix for selected machines that you wish to market with free or subsidised insurance.

‘Showroom Quote Point’

Supported by showroom point of sale material, this allows your customers to obtain quotations themselves from a standalone PC located in your showroom. All quotes are tracked for commission purposes.**

Dealer review meetings

Review meetings can be arranged via a field visit from one of our MCD Account Managers.

Telesales Support

Each dealer has an Internal Sales Account Manager assigned to regularly keep you up to date, support and assist where necessary.

MCD Contact Sheet

The encapsulated MCD Contact Sheet provides all the relevant Motorcycle Direct contact numbers for you and your customers.

Legal Package
