Bikers outside Wessons Café

Wessons Café is a family-run business which has been situated on the High street in Horam, East Sussex since 2000. With seating for 120 people, it is an extremely popular venue for both motorcyclists and cyclists of all ages, and is conveniently open seven days a week.

With the aim of reviving traditional British cafe culture, Wessons Cafe offers a bustling environment all-year-round where visitors can enjoy excellent home cooking and a varied menu, ranging from All Day Breakfasts, fast food, sandwiches, steaks and daily specials. The cafe also serves freshly ground coffee as well as traditional puddings such as Treacle Sponge and Apple Pie. They also make their own sausages and always select locally sourced produce.

Steve and Loz Wesson, the owners of the caf?, have been in the bike business for over 25 years and can often be found building a streetfighter or special which can be seen at various stages of construction. However there are now more than just a few specials on display, and custom builders Hard Up Customs have also moved onsite, who specialise in building Caf? Racers, Flat Trackers and Street customs.

Inside Wessons, the walls are adorned with motorcycling memorabilia and, as one of the biggest biker cafes in the south east, they often have 300 - 400 bikers passing through during the weekends.

Wessons Cafe can cater for both groups or parties, and with the option of eat in or take away, free Wi-Fi, outdoor catering and seating, it's little wonder that this has become a hub for bikers.
