Motocross of Nations 2006 to take place in Britain
Britain will get to hold the 60th edition of the world's greatest off-road motorbike race next September.
Next year's Motocross of Nations will take place on the Farleigh Castle circuit near Bath, where the competition was also held back in 1980 and 1969.
The competition last took place on these shores at Foxhills in 1998.

"It is fantastic for us to have the Nations again in Britain and to bring the race back to Farleigh after twenty-one years will be a special treat for all off-road motorcycle racing fans in the United Kingdom," event co-organiser Steve Dixon told Crash.net.
"The Nations is quite unlike any other race," he continued, before comparing it to football's World Cup.
Earlier this month, the 2005 edition of the event, held in Ernee in France and won by the USA team, attracted 60,000 spectators.
Several commentators have predicted that the interest the event garners will also see a rise in the popularity of motorbiking in the UK, meaning a huge boost for businesses such as bike retailers and bike insurance providers.
