New tyre offers longer life for bikers

A new steel-belt tyre has been developed that should last longer and offer better performance for riders.

Continental Corporation, the supplier of tyres, chassis components and systems has launched the new ContiRoadAttack.

The company has likened the tyre to a high-quality performance sports tyre, which has a prolonged lifespan to help racers travel further before requiring a change of tyres.

It also claims the new product improves the rider's style and efficiency, while maintaining high levels of safety and comfort.

ContiRoadAttack is said to be perfect for amateur and professional riders and should help enhance the performance of both.

The tyre uses the recently developed high-impact belt tyre, which incorporates a multi curvature design to give precise handling on the road.

There is also extra grip in both dry and wet conditions thanks to the Activated Silica Compound (ASC) technology.

Continental Corporation hopes its product will receive market support and become the new tyre of choice for all riders.
