Harley Davidson unveils new model line-up

Fans need to get their bike insurance sorted and their chequebooks out because the ultimate motorcycle manufacturer, Harley Davidson, has revealed its new model line-up for 2006.

Jewels in next year's Harley crown include a new version of the V-Rod and a 35th anniversary Super Glide model.

Built around the powerful Revolution engine, the VRSCD Night Rod boasts mid-mount controls, an upswept exhaust, low-rise bars and a restyled seat for maximum comfort.

It is the ideal way to make a dramatic entrance, including a 'black denim' paint option, with blacked-out controls, mirrors, shocks and polished engine.

For a retro touch, the FXDI35 is a 35th anniversary Super Glide model featuring all the most exciting aspects of Willie G. Davidson's unique 1971 Super Glide motorcycle.

With its gleaming red, white and blue colour scheme, unique shape, Big Twin, centrally-located engine and fat rear tyre beneath a carved fender, each limited-production bike is individually numbered for maximum impact.
