Haydon sticks with Rizla Suzuki

James Haydon will once more be riding a Rizla Suzuki GSX-R1000 in next year's British Superbike Championships.

The rider joined the Rizla Suzuki team during the 2005 season. He is due to remain with the team, taking part in winter training.

Haydon gained a pole position during the first round at Brands Hatch in 2005, coming third on the podium. The team hopes that he will achieve "top honours" in the Championships to come next year.

"Staying with the team gives us continuity," said Haydon. "We finished this year in good shape and now we will build on that confidence and competitiveness through the winter."

Robert Wicks, team manager, said he was over the moon that Haydon decided to stay with Rizla Suzuki: "He knows the bike intimately and that will greatly assist our winter testing programme and allow us to start the 2006 season in the best possible condition."

"James is a determined, talented racer and the excitement and passion he brings to the team is infectious. We're hoping he will be to realise his full potential next year and will be giving him our full support to do so."
