Ducati previews 2006 range
Ducati has used the Birmingham NEC's Motorcycle and Scooter Show to preview two of its 2006 motorbikes.
The event gave bikers an early look at a Xerox Replica 999R and the ST3s ABS sport touring bike before the full 2006 range is unveiled in Milan on November 15th.
With the Xerox Replica, Ducati has reproduced the 2005 World Superbike Championship machine with painstaking accuracy right down to the graphics, headlamp fairing stickers and red wheel trim.

Built for road, trackday and competition use the 999R Xerox comes complete with Ducati's racing kit and a specially adjustable Ohlins rear shock.
However, you won't be able to find one in your local dealership. Ducati has revealed that rather than putting the replica into general production the bike will only be made to order. No indication of a likely price has been given.
Meanwhile the ST3s ABS will become the Italian manufacturer's flagship Sport Touring model and will head-up a revamped range for 2006.
The ST3s will replace the popular ST4s at the top of the sports touring range and like the Xerox 999R it features Ohlins suspension, as well as Marchesini wheels and ABS.
