Hoffman will make Spanish return
Kawasaki MotoGP rider Alex Hoffman has been given the all clear to race in what will be his last event with the Kawasaki team.
Hoffman has been sidelined for the last seven weeks with a badly broken foot and ankle following a fall at the Japanese Grand Prix.
The Kawasaki rider described the Motegi crash as the worst he has ever had and did not learn the full extent of his injuries until he went home to Germany, and a specialist clinic.

The injury required 16 screws and two metal plates but the German has now been declared fit to race at Valencia in the final event of the season.
"I can't wait to be back, I have watched far too many races on TV this season," he explained.
"I reckon I've got more screws in my ankle than the mechanics have in their toolboxes! I really must thank Dr Walther in Munich and everyone who has helped me in the rehabilitation - even if they thought I was joking when I said I wanted to race in Valencia."
The Grand Prix will be Hoffmann's last for Kawasaki after the manufacturer confirmed that 250cc rider Randy de Puniet will race alongside Shinya Nakano next year.
