Kiyonari surprise replacement for Bayliss
Japanese Supersport champ Ryuichi Kiyonari has found himself the proprietor of the Camel Honda at this weekend's Valencia race in a surprise shake-up resulting from Troy Bayliss' broken wrist.
The rider's last minute inclusion dashes hopes for Kent man Shane Byrne, who replaced Bayliss for Honda in last month's races in Malaysia and Qatar, to figure in the Spanish line-up.
Kyonari has reacted with modesty to his anointment, declaring it a "great surprise".

"It was a surprise but also very exciting," he went on to say.
The 2005 BSB runner-up also declared himself optimistic about the challenges he would face.
"I don't think it will be too difficult to adapt to the changes and the development the RCV has had this year, nor to find the feeling with a MotoGP bike after spent the years on a Superbike," he explained.
"I also think the track will help me adapt quickly, because I really like it here in Valencia. I hope to have a good race."
Bayliss had been hoping to be fit enough to return to the track in time for Valencia following an accident on a Motocross bike in September when he broke his wrist, but was deemed not yet equal to the task.
