BMW wows crowds at Milan
BMW showcased its new bikes for 2006 at the Milan Bike Show today (November 15th).
Four bikes were showcased in all: the K1200GT, R1200S sportbike and two variants of their F800 twin - the F800S and ST.
The K1200GT will replace the existing model, which was based on the K1200S. It will feature BMW Duolever front wheel suspension and can top 150 bhp.
Adjustable seat, handlebars and ABS come as standard with Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) available as an optional extra.

The R1200S offers a dry weight 190 Kg and pushes out 120 bhp. The bike has a Boxer engine and comes with a single wire CAN electrical system.
Optional extras include ABS, Ohlins sports suspension and heated grips. It will come in four colours; black, white, grey and yellow, with a two-tone option for the more adventurous.
The F800S is an 800 cc twin and has a dry weight of 200 kg. It has a closed-loop three way catalytic converter, pannier brackets and will feature digital engine electronics.
Like the other models it will have ABS as an optional extra and is aimed specifically at the sports-rider market.
BMW hopes these bikes will continue to promote the manufacturer's name as a luxury brand.
