Honda confirms 2006 MotoGP line-up
Honda has announced that Nicky Hayden and Dani Pedrosa will be racing for the Repsol Honda team in the 2006 MotoGP World Championship.
Honda racing boss Satoru Horiiki said he was excited about the team's prospects at next year's championships and hoped that a young team would challenge former Honda rider Valentino Rossi, who defected to Yamaha.
US rider Hayden will complete his fourth year with Honda during 2006 and he plans to improve his already impressive record next year. The 24-year-old won his first Grand Prix in 2005 at Laguna Seca.

"The second half of 2005 has been good, not just for the win, but a general consistency in qualifying and the races has appeared," Hayden said.
Spaniard Pedrosa, 20, has been handed his first MotoGP contract following three 250cc world championships.
"My whole career has happened so quickly and now the most important challenge is ahead," he revealed. "I'm very confident in the work Honda are doing and in the team we have in place from 2006."
Horiike commented: "In Nicky and Dani we have two of the best riders in the world and everyone within Honda and Repsol is excited about the 2006 World Championship."
Hayden's former Honda team-mate, Max Biaggi, 34, has not yet managed to secure a ride for 2006.
