Harley makes safety recall
Motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson Motor Company has reportedly issued a voluntary recall in the USA.
The recall on 2006 model Dyna series bikes is due to a transmission defect, according to a statement from Harley-Davidson.
Relating to any vehicles built between June 9th and October 19th 2005, the Milwaukee-based company estimates that the recall affects 13,400 bikes shipped this year.

The fault means that the transmission in some of the motorcycles can go into a false neutral position in certain circumstances, despite the neutral indicator light being on.
The recall will apparently cost the company less than $5 million (£2.9 million) and Harley-Davidson will provide free pick-up and delivery for recalled bikes. Costs will be reserved by the group during the fourth quarter of this year.
Kits for the recall will be made available at dealerships from December 12th, as part of the Initial Care Program for 2006 Dyna motorcycles, and UK owners are being urged to contact Harley-Davidson directly.
Harley-Davidson also predicted that it would meet a wholesale shipment target of 329,000 motorcycles for 2005. The groups saw its shares on the New York Stock Exchange rise by 71 cents, or 1.3 per cent, on Wednesday.
