Moto Morini on their way to UK
Three Cross Motorcycles have signed a deal to become the sole distributors of Moto Morini motorcycles, according insidebikes.com.
The Italian bikes have been unavailable in the UK. Sold to the Ducati group in 1996, the brand is now belongs to Morini Franco Motors, the owners of which are the decendents of original Morini, Alfonso, who in 1937 opened the first factory.
Two models will are currently in production: the Moto Morini 9 ½ and the Corsaro 1200. The latter is capable of 6,500 rpm.

The bikes should be available in the UK in February to March 2006.
It has been a slow year for the Italian and British automotive industries alike.
In October it the Italian industry recorded a 1.5 per cent drop in new registrations compared with 2004. On 6th December 2005 the Society of Motoring Manufacturers and Traders announced that new registrations in the year to date were down 5.8 per cent.
According to their website Moto Morini is a "definition of motorcycling in itself. MotoMorini means - Moto di Essere - Be How You Move".
