Victory Motorcycles reveal their Vision
US-based Victory Motorcycles has launched the Vision 800 concept at the International Motorcycle Show in California.
The automatic constant variable transmission (ACVT), with no clutch or foot controls, reduces the time taken to master the riding of a full size motorbike, and at 28.5 inches, a lower than normal seat height also ensures a comfortable ride.
Meanwhile, the radically innovative design draws comparisons with Japanese models recently unveiled by Yamaha and Honda at the Tokyo show, according to Motorcycle News.
The rear storage is large enough to contain two full size motorcycle helmets and the alloy frame is made of cast aluminium, while there is a single rear gas shock that is fully adjustable.

The front and rear brakes have 300mm rotors with two piston callipers and a 250mm rotor with one piston calliper respectively, and the engine is of the 800cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled parallel twin variety.
Designed and manufactured by Polaris, Victory is being marketed as the "The New American Motorcycle".
Greg Brew, the firm's director, said: "We constantly study global design trends, as well as today's motorcycle consumers to better understand, and deliver on, their expectations of the future.
"The Vision 800 is but one example of the type of exploration our team pursues in order to continue to deliver the type of innovative design that fuels people's passion for motorcycles."
