Nakatomi building stalls
Yamaha Motor France's new WSB signing Shinichi Nakatomi has injured himself during his first test with the team.
Leaving team-mates Norick Abe and Sebastien Gimbert at the Valencia circuit, Nakatomi finished up in hospital after hurting his hand in Thursday's session.
"I had been enjoying my first experience in Valencia until the crash," said Nakatomi.

"I was making good progress to learn the bike and tyres and I was happy with my lap times. Now I must wait for a full diagnosis from the doctor and hope that the injury is not too serious."
The Japanese rider lost control after the front of the bike washed out on a cold tyre. He ended the test as was the slowest member of the team with a best lap of 1:38.2 while Gimbert clocked up 1:37.0 and Abe proved the quickest of the trio at 1:36.8.
The outing was Nakatomi's first outside Japan and the 27-year-old will be hoping that he has not started as he means to go on.
Yamaha Motor Germany also completed a two-day session at the Spanish circuit and finished up with its only injury in the form of Broc Parkes' bike.
Parke lost traction in the first corner of the second day, and while he escaped serious injury his machine had to be retired due to a lack of spare parts.
