D'Antin signs MotoGP duo
Team d'Antin Pramac has confirmed that Alex Hofmann and Jose Luis Cardoso will line up on the team Ducatis for next year's MotoGP championship.
After controversially loosing his Kawasaki works ride to French youngster Randy de Puniet the 25-year-old German Hofmann was reportedly considering a number of offers before signing for d'Antin.
Cardoso meanwhile is set to begin his second stint with d'Antin after initially riding for the team in 500GP between 2000 and 2002. The 30-year-old Spaniard returns to the French team after a disappointing season in WSBK, which saw him take a number of heavy spills.

Speaking to Crash.net, team manager Luis d'Antin outlined his hopes for the new season: "I'm very happy and confident for the new season. We will have the availability of the 'Ducati GP06 Satellite' machines and this a very important thing.
"Our team is also getting bigger and we will have two new riders: Jose Luis Cardoso and Alex Hofmann. There are a lot of expectations and we can't wait to begin testing at the end of January in Malaysia."
The satellite bikes that d'Antin refers to are versions of the 2006 Ducati Desmosedici machine complete with Dunlop tyres.
Both Hofmann and Cardoso are expected to break cover for the first time during a testing session late next month.
