Suzuki extends sales offer
The number of people taking out bike insurance after treating themselves to a new vehicle could be set to rise on the back of a new offer from Suzuki.
According to recent figures released by the Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCI), sales of powered two-wheelers are still strong.
While the UK car industry has seen sales plunge by more than 11 per cent over the last 12 months, the motorcycle market has dropped just 3.4 per cent.
And sales could be given a further boost by Suzuki's plans to extend its 0 per cent finance offers on selected models until the end of March.
That means buyers can still pick up the GSXR1000 interest-free and comes after the offer was initially introduced with great success in 2008.
'We launched the GSX-R1000 on interest-free finance for the very first time last year," explained Suzuki GB's Paul de Lusignan.
He added: "It was clearly a popular campaign and one that we are delighted to be able to extend until the end of March."
Bike fans have seen a number of attractive deals from top firms recently.
Only last week, Honda announced the extension of its Brave the Elements promotion, which offers free 360-degree heated grips and a 45-litre top-box with four of the manufacturer's top models.
