Honda set to shine at London Motorcycle Show
Bike fans across the UK are revving up for the MCN London Motorcycle Show this week and they are set to encounter a number of new models from Honda.
The manufacturer will display a series of machines from its 2009 range, which could have a number of riders looking to renew their bike insurance policies.
Among the models showcased will be Honda's CBF125, which could be the ideal purchase for bike fans looking to cut back on fuel costs without compromising performance.
The "small but significant" machine offers the same comfort and riding experience as the firm's larger vehicles, but offers "class-leading fuel economy and ease-of-use" that can be found only in smaller capacity bikes.
Steve Martindale, general manager of Honda motorcycle division, said there had also been considerable excitement about the new supersports CBR1000RR Fireblade and CBR600RR machines.
Both vehicles are fitted with Honda's new Combined ABS system and Mr Martindale said the surge in interest is good news for both the firm and its customers.
"[It] has been incredible and shows Honda's, and the public's, commitment to performance, economy and safety in motorcycling," he commented.
Honda recently announced that it is extending its Brave the Elements offer, which gives riders a complimentary 45-litre top-box and 360-degree heated grips when they buy selected bikes.
