Nunn scoops supercross title
Suzuki team MVR-D rider Carl Nunn raced to victory at the weekend to claim the British Supercross Championship title.
Atop an RM-Z250 machine, Nunn had a one-point advantage over competitor Gordon Crockard as he entered the final round at London's O2 Arena on Saturday evening, motorcycle insurance policyholders may be interested to read.
As well as taking the British title, Nunn finished the last leg of the international event in an impressive fifth place, too.
Speaking about his British win, Nunn said he was "over the moon".
"The MVR-D Suzuki Team have been fantastic and this gives us a real boost for the season ahead," he added.
At one point during the race, Nunn and Crockard encountered a tangle, but both riders agreed that the clash was an unfortunate racing accident.
"On the whole though, it's been a fun series and a great opportunity to stay race fit during the winter," Nunn concluded.
Ahead of the British outdoor season, the MVR-D team is making its way to Italy to carry out testing and participate in the Italian national series.
Last summer saw Nunn participate in the DEP series in Whitby, Yorkshire, scooping an overall victory by the end of the event.
