Honda to showcase sports bikes
Motorbike enthusiasts may want to head to Belfast next weekend to catch a glimpse of Honda's latest offerings.
Motorbike insurance holders may be interested to read that the firm will be showcasing its CBR1000RR Fireblade and CBR600RR sports models at the Northern Ireland Motorcycle Show, which runs between February 13th and 15th.
Steve Martindale, general manager of Honda (UK) Motorcycles, said: "This is the biggest show of its kind in Northern Ireland - a part of the world where motorcycling is extremely popular."
Both models can now be bought with an antilock braking system (ABS) as an option, with the technology being hailed as a world first for sports bikes.
Additionally, the CBF125 model will be on show, which is Honda's latest naked motorcycle and a bestseller in January.
"We've seen so much interest in our Combined ABS-equipped supersport models for 2009 but the new CBF125 also shows that motorcycling can be practical and economical, as well as fun," added Mr Martindale.
In related news, Belfast will also host a custom bike show later this year on July 25th, with motorcyclists invited to come and show off their bikes.
