Scotland to host Honda showcase
Motorbike manufacturer Honda has announced that its new range of models for 2009 will be on display at the MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show.
The event runs between March 14th and 15th at Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre and could play host to a number of motorbike insurance policyholders hoping to catch a glimpse of the latest offerings from the bike maker.
Steve Martindale, general manager of Honda's UK Motorcycle Division, said: "For many motorcyclists in Scotland this may be the first time they will get to see the highlights of our 2009 range - in particular our superb and acclaimed Combined ABS-equipped CBR600RR and Fireblade."
He went on to say that as well as these sporty bikes, a range of more practical and economical options will be on display, in addition to luxury offerings.
Earlier this year, bike manufacturer Yamaha also announced new models for 2009, including the YZF-R1, XJ6 and XJ6 Diversion.
Yamaha plans to showcase its new line-up of models at Stoneleigh Dirt Bike Show in Warwickshire in November, with machines set for display to include the YZ 2-stroke MX, the XT660Z Tenere and the YFM700R sport quad model.
