Bikers urged to take advantage of free kit offer
Motorbike insurance policyholders may be among the Britons planning to invest in a Honda bike and receive a complementary accessory pack for doing so.
However, the firm is warning bikers that they only have a few weeks left before the offer expires.
Those who invest in a 2008 or 2009 Honda VFR800, XL1000V Varadero, NT700V Deauville or XL700VA Transalp will be eligible to receive 360-degree heated grips and a 45-litre colour-matched top box free of charge.
According to the firm, the VF R800 offering, which has been around since 1986, is a reliable model that offers impressive performance as a sports-tourer bike, retailing at around £7,755 on the road.
The XL1000V Varadero is a versatile and comfortable model that provides plenty of torque and can be bought for £7,364.
Meanwhile, the XL700VA Transalp has been updated to boast enhanced power and an antilock braking system as standard for £5,504.
Finally, the Honda Deauville is described as having astounded owners with its all-round ability and functionality, at a retail price of £6,287.
The firm recently held a competition in which a biker booking a test ride of any new Honda motorcycle or scooter at an approved dealership could be in with a chance of winning a new bike from the brand.
