Yamaha launches new offroader
Bike insurance policyholders may want to rush to their nearest Yamaha dealer to get their hands on the latest WR250R Enduro model.
The firm is launching the new 125cc version of the machine this month at a cost of £3,099 without road costs.
According to Yamaha, the bike is both innovative and competitive, boasting impressive styling and offroad potential.
"Designed specifically for road and off-road riding, this all-new full-sized machine benefits from Yamaha's radical next generation off-road styling, giving the rider serious credibility on the street and in the dirt," the firm states.
Available in Racing Blue and Yamaha Black, the model is fitted with a liquid-cooled four-stroke single cylinder engine. The powertrain has four valves and is free-revving, while the machine is also fitted with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear tyre.
Seat height of 930 mm enables the rider to stand up when off the road to enhance comfort and control.
Earlier this month the firm launched its new smaller XVS950A Midnight Star to appeal to those riders looking to embrace the cruiser lifestyle without the heavy weight of larger bikes that generally fit into the genre.
