Test Ride and Win prizewinner named

Bike maker Honda has announced the winner of its Test Ride and Win competition.

The contest enabled motorcycle insurance policyholders visiting the Honda website to book a test ride for the weekend of February 20th to 23rd to be entered into a draw to win a bike of their choice.

Garry Moyle from Redhill in Surrey has been named the winner, selecting an XL1000V Varadero ABS in a metallic orange colour as his prize.

Mr Moyle said that he was "over the moon" upon hearing he had been selected.

"I chose the XL1000 Varadero as I wanted something that would be sturdy, reliable and easy to ride for a daily commute, but also with good luggage space for touring weekends away," he added.

Simon Gardiner, manager of marketing operations for Honda UK, commented that the competition had proved a great success, adding that it was encouraging to know that the events and promotions work well for customers and dealers.

"It's also encouraging to know that our Varadero 1000 is considered such a great all round bike, fulfilling all of Garry's commuting and touring needs and to have another satisfied customer," he concluded.
