Stereophonics bass player invests in bike
Stereophonics fans might want to make like their favourite bass guitarist and invest in a new Suzuki bike.
The Welsh group's Richard Jones took delivery of a new Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa last week - his second bike from the brand in as many years.
Mr Jones opted to get the bike after moving out of London and into the countryside where he needed a motorbike more suited to travelling long distances than his B-King model.
"The B-King is a fantastic tool and great fun around London, but now I need to cover much longer distances there was only one choice for me," he stated, adding: "The Hayabusa has such a reputation and it's just one of those bikes that everyone should ride at some point."
Suzuki's Hayabusa is one of the fastest bikes in production, offering almost 200 bhp. The model was completely revamped in 2007 but has continued to develop its reputation as a legend within the industry.
Motorbike insurance customers thinking of investing in the supersport machine themselves will need to put aside £9,400 for the bike.
Cheaper alternatives include the GSX-R600, GSX-R750 and the GSX-R1000, which all cost under £9,000.
