Biaggi denies Suzuki ride
The soap-opera that Max Biaggi's professional life has become took another twist this week with apparently false reports that the diminutive Italian had signed a deal with the Alstare Corona Suzuki World Superbike team.
Biaggi has vehemently denied the reports, which first appeared in the Italian Gazetta de la Sport newspaper and claims that he is still keeping his options open for the 2006 season.
In an eccentrically translated statement on his website Biaggi explained: "In this period I've had different opportunities, some of them very interesting, and I am thinking what option could be the best one for me.

"That I would have signed a contract for the 2006 season with Suzuki Corona, even two days ago… this thing shocked me," he concluded.
However, while he continues to enjoy his free-time living in the US, Biaggi did not rule out becoming Alstare's fourth rider, explaining that should a concrete offer materialise he would consider it.
Biaggi is still one of the biggest names in motorcycle racing but the four times 250GP champion had an acrimonious split with Honda at the end of last season and has since had to abandon his attempts to find a 2006 MotoGP ride.
While a statement from the rider earlier this month suggested that his future lies in World Superbikes, there have been suggestions that a move to four wheels and F1 could be on the cards.
