Female rider achieves impressive result for Suzuki

Suzuki MVR-D rider Natalie Kane has scooped an impressive sixth place win overall at the recent Catalunya Grand Prix.

The Women's World Championship rider took the same spot in timed practice, finishing in seventh place in the first race and fifth place in the second event, female bike insurance policyholders may be pleased to read.

"Naturally I'm pretty pleased with my performance, but you always want more," she commented, adding that the competition was strong on the day but the bike performed without a glitch.

"I really need to compete in the World Championship to bring my riding on and I'm sure it's paying off," the rider concluded.

Meanwhile, teammate Mattis Karro endured a disappointing day in Catalunya, coming in 18th place in race one and having to retire in race two as a result of a thumb injury.

Team manager, Mark Chamberlain commented that the rider "just had one of those weekends", adding that people are aware of his true pedigree so he is not worried about the reaction.

Recently, MVR-D Suzuki rider James Noble took a podium finish at the third round of the British Masters championship at Pontrilas in Herefordshire, finishing third in race one and fourth in the second outing.
