Limited edition BMW bike with £1,100 free kit

Bike manufacturer BMW has announced that its latest special edition R 1200 GS model will be available with more than £1,100 worth of free kit.

The offering is being launched to mark the bike's 15th year anniversary and will be finished in alpine white with a dual-colour seat and black front beak.

Bike insurance policyholders might be persuaded to shell out the £11,400 price tag in the knowledge that will receive either the dynamic or premium specification package free of charge.

Ensuring the model stands out from the standard offering, BMW has added a tinted screen, black cross spoke wheels and protective aluminium head covers.

Those opting for the dynamic specification will benefit from motorbike insurance-protecting features such as automatic stability control, tyre pressure control and an antilock braking system.

Meanwhile, the premium version is fitted with a special suspension system, which adjusts to suit the terrain, enhancing rider comfort and fun, with the model also coming with an onboard computer, heated handlebar grips, LED indicators and a chrome exhaust pipe.

The bike maker recently launched its new production supersport motorcycle the S 1000 RR with the highest in-class power to weight ratio.
