Bike insurance policyholders may have been on hand last weekend to see Relentless Suzuki MX rider, Scott Columb leave round three of the ACU MMX British Open Championship the team's strongest rider.

A sixth place finish in race one and a third place result in race two saw the rider perform well, although his teammates suffered a less-impressive fate.

Martin Barr took third place in the first race but crashed in the second chase and scraped a seventh place finish.

Jamie Law took ninth in both races while Scott Probert ended his best race of the season with a broken tibia and dislocated ankle.

Team manager Rob Hooper said the day had been a mixture of highs and lows.

"To see all four riders inside the top-ten in race one was fantastic and even better to see Scott Columb lead the second race in such a determined fashion," he stated, adding: "The big low for us all is the injury sustained by Scott Probert."

Earlier this month, Women's World Championship rider Natalie Kane took an impressive sixth place overall at the MVR-D Catalunya Grand Prix, while James Noble secured the overall win at the Fuchs Silkolene 2-Stroke Championship.
