Bike insurance customers with a taste for retro styles might want to head to Motorexpo this month for the unveiling of the Piaggio MP3 LT 400cc.
The scooter will be the first ever above 125cc that can be legally ridden with a normal car licence.
It will be on display at the motoring event, which takes place at London's Canary Wharf between June 8th and 14th.
The model is well-suited to both urban traffic and out-of-town environments and boasts unique looks with its two independent tilting front wheels.
According to Piaggio, the three-wheeler is the perfect option for consumers who have considered buying a scooter but are restricted because they do not hold a motorcycle licence.
The model also offers strong performance thanks to its bigger engine and has 20 per cent shorter stopping distances than conventional scooters, potentially helping to keep bike insurance policyholders safer on the roads through enhanced stability.
Piaggio will also display the iconic GTS 300cc Super Vespa and the Vespa LX at Motorexpo, while bike maker Aprilia will have a presence at the event.
Those with an interest in the three-wheeler can book a test ride for the event in advance.
