British motorcyclists might want to ensure their bike insurance is up-to-date if they plan to take a test ride on the Aprilia Mana 850 at Motorexpo.

The bike will appear at the free auto event held between June 8th and 14th, alongside other models from Aprilia's line-up.

According to the manufacturer, the vehicle is "so advanced and unique that it simply cannot be compared to any other motorcycle".

Riders will benefit from the offering's three-option gearbox, a fully automatic gearshift and an electronic control system to replace the normal clutch lever.

The model offers three engine settings - touring, sport and rain - to cater for various road and weather conditions at the touch of a button, potentially enhancing rider safety and reducing the need for bike insurance claims.

Described as being "a bike for everyone", the model is suitable city traffic with its fully automatic option or for the open road with its manual sport option.

Bike insurance policyholders attending the event in Canary Wharf will also have the opportunity to glimpse Piaggio's MP3 LT three-wheeled vehicle - the first ever scooter above 125cc that can be legally ridden with a normal car licence.
