Suzuki has scooped an MX1victory at Foxhills in Surrey with rider Martin Barr, who made his debut win.

The Relentless Suzuki motorcyclist took the overall win at the fourth round of the British Masters series over the weekend, as avid bike insurance customers potentially looked on.

Team manager Rob Hooper commented that he was pleased with Barr's win and predicted that more would follow.

Retaining his series lead in the MXY2 class, Relentless Suzuki's Matt Burrows scooped two second place finishes during Saturday's races.

Mr Hooper added that Burrows had raced in difficult conditions but rose to the challenge.

"Of the team riders, Matt had the most challenging race programme of the weekend, having to race both Saturday and Sunday in some very heavy conditions. Yet again he rode brilliantly to secure second overall," he stated.

Meanwhile, MVR-D Suzuki's Carl Nunn rode to victory in North Yorkshire over the weekend, taking the overall victory at Sunday's second round Red Bull Pro National championship event.

Nunn and teammate James Noble each won a race and scooped a second place, with Nunn coming top overall and Noble finishing in second.

In the FIM Women's MX world championship, MVR-D Suzuki's Natalie Kane has retained sixth place overall following the recent fourth round in France.
