This year's Goodwood Festival of Speed is set to be one of the biggest and best yet for motorbike fans, as a wide variety of current and former champions prepare to tear up the track.

Running from July 3rd to 5th, the festival is promising a selection of "former and future motorcycle world champions", with the likes of five-time 500cc World Champion Michael 'Mick' Doohan, four-time 250cc World Champion Max 'The Roman Emperor' Biaggi and two-time World Superbike Champion Troy Corser all recently confirming their appearances.

There will also be a number of young British riders in attendance, including 125cc Grand Prix race winner Scott Redding, front runner Danny Webb and World Superbike Championship contender Leon Haslam.

They will compete in a variety of races that will have bike insurance customers enthralled over the course of the two days.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to get up close to some of the bikes taking part in the races, with displays of old and new models at the event.

Bike insurance customers may also be keen to head to the Metropolitan Police Training School, Hendon on June 20th and 21st, where the police force will be hosting its Bike Safe event, which promises to be full of entertainment for the whole family.
