Yamaha has announced that it will launch a new replica model of the YZF-R125 complete with the racing team's unique livery.
According to the firm, since the original bike was released in March 2008, it has become the UK's best-selling supersport 125cc machine.
Yamaha adds that the bike can rival its bigger relatives the R1 and R6 with its stunning looks put together by R1 designer Kazumasa Sasanami.
Despite its diminutive looks, the model is not a miniature model. Based on a full-size chassis, the bike's road presence can match that of bigger models while its larger frame ensures its suitability for older or taller riders.
The bike is fitted with a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled four-stroke single cylinder SOHC engine and a six-speed gearbox to allow for top speeds and optimum acceleration.
Boasting 17-inch tyres on lightweight ten-spoke wheels, the bike offers solid gripping ability and is able to stop confidently and in a stable manner.
Riders might want to invest in bike insurance to protect their prized possession from envious onlookers.
"Combining an eager 125cc engine, a race-style chassis and striking R-series bodywork in official Team Yamaha livery - the YZF-R125 is the perfect introduction to supersport riding," Yamaha concluded.
The firm also recently launched its Majesty 400, which combines effectiveness with luxury and style.
