An automotive charity has joined forces with the Motorcycle Industry Association in a bid to create a partnership that could be beneficial to bike insurance customers across the UK.
Under the membership, charity BEN will be able to keep in touch with the industry on any developments, while also providing information about its own work.
Charles Davis, director of fundraising and communications at BEN, said that the charity is looking forward to working with the industry to promote both the organisations.
"This relationship is invaluable to BEN, allowing us to reach those in the motorcycle industry who may not know about BEN's work," he added.
Steve Kenward, chief executive officer of the Motorcycle Industry Association, said: "This is wonderful news for all those who work in the motorcycle industry, many of whom have not previously understood that BEN is there to help them if needed."
He went on to say that that the two organisations will work to support each other and urged consumers to find out more about the charity, as they never know when they might need its help.
Founded in 1905, BEN is an occupational charity for people who work or have worked within the automotive sector and its related industries, offering financial, emotional and practical support.
