Bike insurance policyholders should get ready to salivate when they see the new RMX450Z Enduro racer from Suzuki.
Based on the RM-Z450 motocross machine, the new model will be fitted with a 450cc race engine and feature additional benefits such as fuel injection and electric start.
The bike also boasts an 18-inch rear wheel, re-tuned suspension and a lighting kit.
Suzuki's David Taylor stated that the RMX450Z is a "very significant" new bike for the firm's 2010 range.
"The public have been asking us for this bike at shows and dealers for sometime now, so we are delighted to bring it to the market and with such a great specification," he commented.
Mr Taylor went on to say that the bike's features - such as large wheel and electric start - show that the model has been developed especially for enduro at the factory rather than just being a converted motorcross machine.
"On top of the chassis features, the fuel-injected 450cc engine is sure to make this one of the most competitive machines available next season," he added.
The bike is set to launch in the autumn and prices have not yet been confirmed.
Earlier this month, Suzuki announced the launch of its Burgman 400 in a new luxury version - the 400ZA, which could appeal to bike insurance policyholders with a taste for the finer things in life.
