Female biker and MVR-D Suzuki rider Natalie Kane has achieved a podium finish in the Ladies class at the German Grand Prix.
The RM-Z250 rider took third place in the first race of the day on June 21st at the Teutschenthal track, behind front-runners Stephanie Laier and Larissa Papenmeier.
Kane commented that she was delighted with the win, adding that the team made some changes to the bike before the event that allowed her to push harder for the result.
"The competition is obviously much fiercer than at home, but it gives me the challenge I need to progress," she stated.
In the second race, Kane just missed out on a podium, finishing in fourth place. She took fourth place overall for the day.
Team manager Mark Chamberlain commented that the rider's performance was "stunning".
"A podium is exactly what she deserves and gives us something to build on for the remaining rounds of the championship," he added.
During the same weekend, Team Doodson Suzuki Youth rider James Dunn took the top spot at the Silkolene Two-Stroke British Championship in Whitby, North Yorkshire, riding an RM125 for the first time.
