Despite poor weather, Suzuki rider Paul Edmondson managed to scoop a win at the recent two-day Enduro event in Wales.
The RMZ250 rider started the heat in second place in the E2 class and fought against competitor Si Wakely to scoop the lead by ten seconds on day one.
Day two saw the weather take a turn for the worse and Fast Eddy lost his lead during a torrential downpour, bike insurance customers may be interested to read.
In the E1 class, the biker failed to beat class leaders Darryl Bolter and Lee Edmondson, despite posting the fastest time on the wet during the test at Cwmthig Hill.
While leading the E2 class, the rider also failed to take the top spot overall.
He commented: "Talk about bad timing! That downpour really made hard work of things and although I rode really well in the wet, I couldn't match the dry times posted by the two leaders."
Edmonson went on to say that his bike rode well and consistently, adding that he was pleased with the E2 class win but felt disappointed because he thought he could have taken the overall win before the rain came.
Meanwhile, in related news, Relentless Suzuki MX rider Scott Columb took a third place victory last weekend in the fourth round of the MMX British Open Championship.
