Bike insurance policyholders may have been pleased to see Relentless Suzuki MX rider Scott Columb race to a third place victory at the fourth round of the MMX British Open Championship last weekend.
The RM-Z450 rider from New Zealand was in the lead for some time until an error caused him to fall back, eventually taking the first race in fourth place.
For race two, the rider saw his bike's suspension changed and scooped the third spot, taking the same place for the day overall.
Meanwhile, Suzuki rider Jamie Law finished in ninth place and seventh in the second race, taking seventh overall.
Teammate Martin Barr qualified with the fastest time but crashed out of the first race and could not continue after sustaining a leg injury.
Commenting on the events, team manager Rob Hooper commented expressed his disappointment on Barr's behalf.
"He was by far the fastest man on the track and we were looking forward to some really good results again before the unfortunate crash," he stated.
Mr Hooper added: "However, Scott and Jamie again rode very well again and we're all encouraged by their improving speed and general progress at the moment."
In Enduro, Suzuki rider Paul Edmondson took a victory at the recent two-day event in Wales.
