Suzuki was victorious at the second round of the of the British Enduro Championship at Knighton when its Paul 'Fast Eddy' Edmondson finished in first place.
The manufacturer's ride, who would have needed bike insurance, battled with heavy showers to complete the race in poll position, ahead of his impending birthday.
He said: "The bike was simply perfect for the conditions and although some of the time checks became tight on the first day as the heavy rain made some of the course tricky."
Edmondson went on to congratulate Suzuki on the bike he rode, calling it a "dream" which "never missed a beat".
The rider competed on a modified RM-Z250 in the race, which had a 290cc bore kit and an otherwise standard specification.
Meanwhile, fellow Suzuki rider Matt Bond announced this month that he is retiring from motorcycle racing, after a bout of "bad luck" this season, reports London Bike News.
