A campaign has been launched to promote motorcycling across the country led by R'n'B star and boyband member Simon Webbe.
The motorcycling enthusiast, who has recently been rehearsing for boyband Blue's comeback tour, was on hand to promote the Get On campaign in Stoke last week, the Mirror reports.
Hosted by the Britannia Stadium, the launch saw Webbe climb atop a 125cc bike and put the machine through its paces in front of fans and avid bike insurance policyholders who attended the event.
The campaign is being launched under the banner Life's Better on Two Wheels and will run for three years, providing members of the public with free hourly taster riding sessions on bikes and scooters.
Webbe commented that he always had a penchant for bikes.
"The taster session was great fun and will give newcomers a feeling of the freedom that life on two wheels gives you - it was great to try it in a controlled environment under expert tuition," he told the publication.
Consumers with or without bike insurance can take advantage of the scheme by logging on to the Get On website and finding their nearest facility.
Webbe is the latest celebrity to be spotted on a bike after Hollywood heart throb Brad Pitt was seen atop a chopper last week.
