An internet resource including details of where motorbike insurance policyholders and other drivers can take their vehicles legally off-road has been launched.

To coincide with Suzuki GB's centenary celebrations, the firm has unveiled a new online guide for off-road motorbike and all terrain vehicle owners looking for a safe way to get the most out of their machine.

Motorists and bikers can visit the manufacturer's UK website to find the nearest course where they can legally ride or drive.

According to the company, the details of 35 tracks around the nation have already been uploaded onto the new system.

It hopes the search engine facility will continue to grow and become a "must access" website for any off-road rider looking for their local course or somewhere new to visit.

Bikers are also invited to submit suggestions for new tracks to be uploaded.

Speaking at the launch of the new guide, Suzuki GB's Richard Gregg said he was "extremely pleased" to launch the new service.

He added: "Although the vast majority of off-road machine owners are extremely responsible, people new to the sport can sometimes struggle to find somewhere to ride legally."

The launch comes as the firm invites biking enthusiasts to share its 100th birthday by sending in their favourite Suzuki photos.

The owner of the winning image, as voted for by fellow fans of the brand, will win two tickets to the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show in Birmingham.
