Fans of Italian Moto Guzzi bikes may be interested to read that the factory producing the machines is launching a European tour to the International Motorcycle show held in Milan.

The Ayrshire Post reports that organisers of the Mille Miglia race are offering tours embarking from six cities to finish in Milan for the show's opening.

Special celebrations are to be held for owners of Moto Guzzi bikes.

The Moto Guzzi factory will provide a back-up van and a lead rider for the tours, with those attending set to receive a pack containing a route map, hospitality voucher, programme of events, patch, badge and customised Moto Guzzi diary.

Various package levels are available for bike insurance policyholders wanting to attend a tour, from full board - which board includes accommodation and meals for outbound and return journeys - to basic, which allows consumers to book for the Where Eagles Fly party.

Those participating will also receive a preview presentation of the latest Moto Guzzi model.

Earlier this year a Moto Guzzi specific dealership opened in Southampton. Metropolis Motorcycles in London is also a dealer of the models.
