Honda owners keen to get their machine ready for winter can take advantage of a new offer from the manufacturer, with a full service priced at £99.

Running until February 2010, the deal includes either one year's roadside assistance for free, in addition to collection and delivery of your bike without charge, or £25 off genuine service parts.

The offer is available to all riders of on-road machines of 125cc or above. Bike insurance customers may be pleased to hear it includes an oil and filter change, the choice of one of three added value offers plus a free 16-point health check.

The bodywork and mirror fittings will be carefully examined by Honda-qualified mechanics, as well as the lights, horn, tyres and instrument panel.

Richard Schofield, the firm's UK manager of motorcycle parts and accessories, said this is the time of year when many bikes are returned to the garage until the following spring.

The offer will help riders "to keep their bikes and scooters in the best and well maintained condition possible for safe and enjoyable riding, both next year and also throughout this winter," he added.

In related news, Honda has partnered with racing legend Mick Extance to offer a new off-road experience at Llangynog in north Wales.
