Ahead of its official unveiling in Milan, details of the F4 1000 MV Augusta have been released.

Set to whet bike insurance policyholders' appetites, the model will be revealed in a week's time at the 67th International Motorcycle Exhibition.

The outgoing F4 offering will be replaced by the restyled version, which is more angular and will be fitted with distinctive pipe organ style exhausts, claims MotorcycleNews.com.

Like the new Brutale offering, the model is expected to be fitted with TC MK II traction control and offer 186bhp at 12,900rpm, making a contender for Honda's Fireblade, the Kawasaki ZX-10R, Yamaha's R1 and the Suzuki GSX-R1000.

It is also set to include features like variable length inlet tracts, a slipper clutch and twin injectors per cylinder.

Also set to make its debut at the Milan Fair is the Multistrada 1200 from Ducati.

The model, which will be on display between November 10th and 15th, is said to be an all-round machine suitable for a variety of riding styles including touring, commuting and supersports.

Meanwhile, Korean firm Hyosung will be holding the world preview of an Aquila GV 700 at the event, along with three new scooters.
