Motorhome insurance policyholders thinking of investing in a new model might want to turn their attention to the award-winning Romahome R10 Solo.
The model recently scooped the Multi-purpose Motorcaravan Runner-up Award for 2009, presented by Which Motorcaravan.
Measuring 3.86 metres long, the motorhome is less than two metres tall yet carries three people in comfort.
The economical 1.4HDi engine works in a similar way to a powerplant fitted in a one-person micro-camper and the model's interior is comfortable and cosy, Romahome suggests.
Inside, the compact vehicle - which uses the Citroen Nemo as its base - offers a multipurpose rear seat that can be flattened into a single bed, a kitchen complete with two-burner hob and sink and plenty of storage.
The accolade may make the mobile home even more appealing to caravan insurance policyholders as it highlights the model's ability to multitask as both a small camper and also as an everyday vehicle.
It also needs to be useful for camping and make for on-the-road pleasure.
Earlier this year, motorhome brand Romahome received another accolade as Manufacturer of the Year by UK motorhome magazine MMM.
