Bike insurance policyholders planning a visit to this year's International Motorcycle and Scooter Show are in for a treat with a new cinema experience.

Global circumnavigator Nick Sanders, sponsored by Yamaha, is set to showcase his many experiences in cinematic format at the show, which runs at the Birmingham NEC Arena between November 27th and December 6th.

Accruing more than 400,000 miles and seven trips around the world, the biker's expeditions will be highlighted on the big screen as part of the Motorcycle Cinema.

"The Motorcycle Cinema has brilliantly captured the essence, spirit and challenges of my 30 years of adventuring around the globe," commented the rider.

He went on to say that he has ridden the length of the Americas twice, covered Morocco 12 times, travelled the Alaskan Highway eight times and completed the journey from London to Timbukto three times.

"I felt a real need to share my experiences and the endurance and humour needed with a wider audience through cinema," Sanders added.

The film is entitled In the Land of Men and is created from hundreds of hours' footage of the rider and his Yamaha YZF-R1.

Sanders also has a book out entitled Parallel Coast - Notes and Pictures.
