A new range of boots for bikers are being touted as the ideal Christmas gift for motorbike enthusiasts.

According to motorcyclists' accessories retailer GhostBikes, the leather Stealth, Neo and Cougar boots provide riders with solid support and structure, while looking sporty and modern.

The Stealth range is the first of the firm's touring range of products, designed to stay 100 per cent waterproof, but remain light and agile.

Priced at £39.99, the Stealth's toe caps, heel caps, a tempered steel shank sole and a vulcanised rubber base for maximum grip and protection will help bikers to stay safe on winter roads.

Neo motorcycle boots - retailing at £64.99 - offer improved comfort with integrated shock absorbers and a padded heel.

Its manufacturer says the design allows the footwear to stay extremely flexible while providing maximum protection.

Finally, GhostBikes suggests the Cougar is the ideal choice of the biker who "wants it all". Priced at £79.99, the boots are available in five different colours so riders can match their gear to their machine.

The design is tailored to guard the ankle, shin, heel and calf and thick leather straps give the footwear a modern feel.

In related news, bike insurance customers with an interest in classic machines may be pleased to hear about the launch of new book The Cafe Racer Phenomenon.
