This year's Classic Motor Show has plenty to enthral lovers of vintage bikes, say organisers.
Held in Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre from Friday November 13th to Sunday November 15th, the Classic Bikes area will invite attendees to show off their pride and joy in a special competition.
Supported by Meguiars and RealClassic magazine, the event will bring together machines of all varieties, from traditional British big-engined bikes to Italian 50cc racers.
Among the highlights of this year's entrants are a 1959 Ariel Square Four powered by a 1000cc four-cylinder engine and several BSAs from the 1940s through to the 1960s.
A Vincent Rapide, complete with sidecar, is another machine likely to catch the eye of bike insurance customers visiting the show.
Those looking out for some less-familiar models might be taken by the selection of Jawas and CZs made in the Czech Republic.
With six classes in the competition spanning pre-1946 through to 1970 to the present day, the event is sure to be a must-see.
In related news, the latest bike sale from British Car Auctions raised a record-breaking £300,000, suggesting the recession has failed to dent bikers' enthusiasm for their machines.
