Motor bike madness to raise money for cancer
A man riding his motor bike around the country for charity was due to arrive in the Cumbrian town of Kendal today.
And Stuart Wilkes may need to pick up some of the region's famous energy-boosting Mint Cake for the final leg of his journey - back to London.
He set off on his motor bike marathon from the capital's Woodford Green on February 25th, and has already covered Holland, Scotland and Ireland in his quest.
He is now due back in London on March 6th, having hopefully raised a stash of cash and a lot of awareness for his two charities: Leukaemia Research Fund and Bullying Online.
Motorcycle Insurance - Fantastic Quotes
However, in a unique twist the IT manager has been playing church organs in each town and city he has stopped in.
This is the second year Organtour has been organised and Stuart will be hoping to beat the £3,700 sum he managed to raise last year.
His Kendal recital will take place at St George's Church on Castle Street, where locals are invited to lend him their support, according to Lakeland Radio.
One thing's for sure - with all that mileage, Stuart is likely to have shopped around for the cheapest motor bike insurance quote.
However, his motor bike insurance company will also have given him cover for driving in Ireland and Europe.
